Brushed Gold Aluminum · Vertical Cascade Cattail Leaf Chandelier Dozens of gold-anodized aluminum leaves — each fan-shaped, with fine radial lines etched into the brushed surface — hang in loose layers around a vertical rod. G9 sockets nest between the leaves, throwing light upward and outward so each disc casts a soft shadow on the ones below. At 8 feet long in the standard size, and built up to nearly 15 feet to order, the Cattail Leaf is designed for staircase wells, double-height entryways, and atrium spaces.

Plan for the vertical drop The standard size hangs 98.4″ — over 8 feet from the canopy to the lowest leaf. The grand configuration drops 177″, nearly 15 feet. Best installed in stairwells, double-height foyers, and atriums where the fixture can be viewed from multiple floors.

Which size do I need for my space? The standard size (8 feet drop) suits most two-story foyers and stairwells with ceiling heights of 12–14 feet. The grand size (15 feet drop) is built for taller atriums, three-story stairwells, and commercial entrances. As a rule of thumb, leave at least 7–8 feet of clearance between the lowest leaf and the floor. Can the size be customized further? Yes. Diameter, total drop length, leaf density (more or fewer leaves per length), and the finish color can all be adjusted. Send us your ceiling height, viewing angle, and the look you're after, and we'll quote a configuration before production starts. What bulbs work best? G9 LED bulbs at 3–4W, 2700–3000K warm white. The warm tone matches the gold finish; LED keeps heat low so the brushed surface holds its color over time. Dimmable bulbs paired with a compatible dimmer give you control over how dramatic the cascade reads at night. How heavy is it — does the ceiling need reinforcement? Yes — particularly for the grand size. Aluminum keeps the weight reasonable for a fixture of this scale, but a 15-foot vertical drop puts significant load on the ceiling junction. We recommend confirming the joist or structural support with your contractor before installation, and using a rated heavy-duty ceiling box. Is the Cattail Leaf certified for North America? Yes.
